Aiming to build the most comprehensive and flexible Banking-as-a-Service platform out there, we are on a mission to fix this and remove the barriers – and provide our partners with a seamless experience when prototyping and building financial products and services in just a few weeks, or even days, instead of months to years. Launching a banking product, embedding and scaling financial use-cases will never have been easier and faster, and that’s what we are fully committed to.
 
So, what’s that… are we a startup and starting from scratch? Yes. And no. We are a well funded licensed e-money institution and principal member of Mastercard with offices in Luxembourg and Munich with a staff of ca. 100, and rapidly growing. We have been running a successful consumer card product for the last 6 years and built a significant B2B portfolio around corporate spend management, payouts and emergency payments.
 
Following our new mission we have been bringing together some of the brightest minds in fintech and now are building a new modular ecosystem upon the running business and experience we have. Quite a luxurious situation for a startup we’d say – and one that absolutely excites us!

Your job? You will…

  • manage the pre-sales/solution engineering team to provide support to sales and partner managers in promoting and the sales process;
  • direct and navigate the team to the right company resources;
  • effectively manage your available resources in order to deliver quality results, on time, continuously documenting, streamlining and enhancing the existing onboarding process for our customers;
  • provide technical analysis and development of existing and proposed architectures and products for a variety of finance experiences;
  • create requirements definition, proposal development, demonstration support, and technical documentation in support of the sales proposal activities collaborating across the business to ensure a first-class customer experience and of course ongoing;
  • work closely with our product and development teams to continuously improve our platform solutions and foster innovation.

What skills and traits you need?

  • You have relevant leadership and management experience in technical solution engineering, with experience in financial services and especially BaaS being a big plus. 
  • You love solving problems, never stop being curious and are extremely customer centric.
  • You have rich experience leading high performing teams in a cross-functional environment to deliver best results, with the willingness and demonstrated ability to lead hands on and close to technology.
  • You know how to manage international teams remotely and the culture this requires.
  • You are dedicated, hungry, and driven to succeed with strong business acumen and are looking for a product that you can push with passion and drive.
  • You have an outstanding ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and translate them into industry- or business-relevant terms, and can empathetically translate between technical and non-technical teams.
  • You are a strong communicator and love to connect with prospects to understand their needs and requirements and provide an outstanding customer experience.
  • You know the importance of both the big picture and attention to detail.
  • Your proficiency level in English is high – with additional languages being a plus, especially fluent German.
